FRSE Publishing (The Publishing House of the Foundation for the Development of the Education System) specialises in educational topics.
Every year, dozens of publications and translations bearing the FRSE logo are issued, aiming to provide information on the opportunities offered by international educational programmes and initiatives, such as Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps or the European Social Fund.
This means that authors of academic monographs receive 80 points in accordance with the Act of 20 July 2018 – The Law on Higher Education and Science.
What we offer
The offer of the FRSE Publishing is very diverse. It includes thematic publications on good educational practices handbooks, guides, research reports and other types of training materials facilitating the implementation of educational projects for beneficiaries.
Series targeted at the academic community, educational policy-makers and those interested in changes in European education systems, are also featured. The publisher also pursues the objective of disseminating quality monographs by making them freely available in digital repositories and by including them in international scientific exchanges.
Publications included in the Key Concepts Series are prepared in cooperation with experts from the leading Polish universities, discussing key issues of modern education. In individual volumes, educators, sociologists and other researchers present issues related to inclusive education, teacher profession, adult education, etc.
Scientific review
As part of cooperation with the academic community, peer-reviewed scientific research papers are published each year under the “Monographs” contest. The contest is aimed at researchers and scholars in the field of education across various disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. Publications selected by the jury are published in Monographs Series in Polish and English, in digital and in print, and are made available in several repositories:
Suggestions of monographs or scientific research publications are evaluated on the basis of a review procedure, respecting the principles of publishing ethics. A high standard of publications is also ensured by applying the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
